​​​Sophia Jimenez, Editor
Sophia is a professional editor with over a decade of experience in the publishing industry, including several years in both adult and children’s acquisitions at Simon & Schuster. She's edited everything from picture books to fantasy novels to adult nonfiction, and has worked with many authors of bestsellers, award winners, and “best of the year” picks.
​​​Kaitlyn San Miguel
Kaitlyn is a copyeditor and proofreader as well as a production editor at Atheneum Books for Young Readers and Beach Lane Books. They are also a freelance copyeditor and proofreader for Penguin Random House, HarperCollins Publishers, Simon & Schuster Children’s Book Publishing, and Astra House.
Angela has over 18 years experience working as a freelance writer, illustrator, and developmental editor for various educational and trade publishers. Besides her own published children's books, Angela has written, edited, and art directed a series of decodable books called Cover to Cover as part of Reading Partners' curriculum that addresses the science of reading. She provides developmental editing, art directing, book layout design, and publishing career consultations for both authors and illustrators.
